Terms and Conditions |
- Equipment rentals: Daily, 4-day week or 12-day month.
- All equipment is to be returned by noon on day of return. Returns after 12 noon will be charged additional rental fees.
- Equipment should be returned in the same condition as when it was picked up. There will be an extra charge for cleaning and repacking dirty or unpackaged returns.
- Missing, broken and/or accidental damage to equipment will be charged.
- Spare bulbs are provided at no extra cost. Burn outs must be returned. There is no burn-time charge on any of the lamps or instruments. Missing or broken bulbs will be charged.
- Deliveries will be charged where applicable.
- Additional equipment and/or substitutions to packages are available at extra cost.
- Expendable supplies are sold on an "as-used" basis from the grip truck.
- Additional terms and conditions are listed on the rental contract.
PAYMENT 
- Accepted forms of payment are: Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Company Check.
- All orders are COD unless Credit Terms have been arranged. All Credit terms are Net 30 days. Past due invoices will be charged 1 ½% per month.
- All COD orders must provide a valid picture ID and a major credit card.
- All COD orders are subject to deposits.
- Sales tax charges are based on the state to which the equipment is delivered. Maryland sales tax is charged when equipment is picked up at R & R Lighting by your employee (freelancers are your employees).
CANCELLATION
- A cancellation fee of 50% of rental equipment ordered and 100% of labor charges will be billed if R & R Lighting receives notice of job cancellation later than 12:00 PM of the weekday prior to the scheduled shoot.
- For weather cancellations, notice must be made prior to 3:00 PM of the weekday prior to the scheduled shoot.
LIABILITY
- R & R Lighting limits its liability solely to replacement of equipment or refund of rental fees and specifically excludes any consequential damages.
- You are liable for the equipment and vehicles from the time they leave R & R Lighting until the time they are returned.

INSURANCE
Proof of insurance will be required prior to start of rental or production. Customer must provide R & R Lighting Co., Inc. with evidence of:
- Comprehensive Liability and Automobile Liability Insurance in the amount of $500,000 each for:
- Bodily Damage Liability,
- Property Damage Liability or
- Combined Single Limit Bodily Injury and Property Damage Liability.
- Customer must provide "ALL RISKS" insurance on all equipment rented from R & R Lighting in an amount at least equal to the Value stated by R & R Lighting Co., Inc.
- Insurance must be verified by the filing of a Certificate of Insurance containing the following:
- List as an additional insured with respect to: Third Party Property Damage and General Comprehensive Liability.
- Provide a 10 day notice of cancellation to R & R Lighting in the event of any cancellation or reduction in coverage.
- Contain a statement that the Insurance is primary with R & R Lighting over all other insurance.
- That a copy of the Insurance ACCORD, with R & R being named as the loss payee, be delivered to R & R Lighting prior to the rental.
